ENBI Leadership Team
ENBI is a next-generation renewable energy platform, evolving from a pure developer into a fully integrated Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage across Italy and select European markets.
Established in 2025 through the integration of Bio3 Energy and Envidev — two of Italy's most respected development firms — ENBI consolidates deep origination capabilities with the capital discipline and operational ambition of a long-term infrastructure owner.
We control the full development lifecycle internally: from land origination, permitting, and interconnection through to commercialization, EPC oversight, and operational readiness.
As we transition into an IPP, we are building selective ownership positions in high-quality projects, while continuing to monetize others through strategic exits and partnerships.
With a diversified pipeline of land-secured, grid-visible assets and a leadership team with over €1.5 billion in renewable platform transactions, ENBI combines speed, control, and investor-grade discipline.
2020
Envidev is founded as a clean energy development company focused on utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid energy solutions.
2021-2023
Envidev builds a >1 GW pipeline across Italy. Bio3 Energy gains traction as an independent solar PV developer in southern Italy.
2024
Bio3 Energy scales up its internal development pipeline, focusing on land origination, interconnection analysis, and project packaging.
March 2025
Envidev is recognized by the Financial Times as one of the FT 1000: Europe's Fastest Growing Companies.
July 2025
ENBI Holding Srl is formally established, combining the project pipelines and execution teams of Bio3 Energy and Envidev.
We secure land and grid connections early through embedded local relationships, focusing on high-resource areas and under-supplied zones of the grid. We don't chase auctions or compete on price — we originate selectively and structure for control.
Our in-house team manages permitting, design, and regulatory interface — minimizing execution risk and ensuring projects are aligned with grid realities and regional planning frameworks.
We retain operational control of select projects through our evolving IPP portfolio, while rotating others via RTB or COD sales to utilities, funds, or energy majors. This hybrid model allows for reinvestment, IRR optimization, and platform scaling.
ENBI is structured for institutional engagement: third-party audit trails, robust governance, transparent asset pricing, and HoldCo-level consolidation. This enables scalable exits, financing readiness, and long-term credibility.

Our commitment to sustainable development and the energy transition
To develop, deliver, and operate high-integrity renewable energy infrastructure that accelerates the energy transition across Italy and Europe. We combine deep local origination with disciplined execution and selective asset ownership to create long-term value for communities, partners, and the energy system.
To become a leading independent power producer and developer of clean energy in Europe — recognized for our ability to originate strategically, execute decisively, and operate responsibly. We aim to build a resilient, scalable platform that delivers grid-connected solar, wind, and storage assets where they are needed most.
Sustainability
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. ENBI develops and operates utility-scale solar, wind, and storage assets that supply clean electricity to local grids — reducing emissions and improving energy access across Italy and Europe.
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. Our projects contribute to modernizing regional energy infrastructure and enabling smarter grid integration. We invest in early-stage development with a long-term vision of system-wide value.
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. We work closely with municipalities, landowners, and grid operators to design energy projects that respect local context, preserve land value, and support regional development priorities.
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. Every megawatt we develop displaces fossil generation and contributes to national and EU climate goals. We focus on permanent, grid-connected infrastructure that delivers measurable decarbonization.
Sustainability
ENBI's strategy is grounded in execution, selectivity, and alignment. We develop and operate utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Italy and selected European markets, with full control over origination, permitting, interconnection, and project readiness.
Our structure allows us to selectively retain high-quality assets as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), while monetizing others through strategic exits or partnerships. By integrating developer expertise with asset ownership capabilities, we remove friction between the early and late stages of project development — accelerating delivery and unlocking value across the lifecycle.

LinkedinOur team
We founded ENBI to address a structural gap in the energy transition: the disconnect between local project development and institutional execution standards.
After years operating independently — across land origination, engineering, legal structuring, and platform-level transactions — we saw an opportunity to create something different: a fully integrated platform that combines the agility of a developer with the discipline of a long-term owner.
ENBI brings together complementary expertise under one roof. We control every phase of the project lifecycle — from land to grid, from permit to commercial operation — enabling us to deliver infrastructure with greater speed, precision, and accountability.
Our goal is simple: to build renewable assets that are technically sound, commercially viable, and ready to perform for the long term.
ENBI partners with landowners, corporate offtakers, and institutional investors to develop and deliver utility-scale renewable energy assets across Italy and selected European markets. We operate as a vertically integrated platform — controlling the full project lifecycle from land origination through to grid connection and commercialization.
Our model is built on clear roles, reliable execution, and aligned incentives. We don't outsource risk. We manage it — with discipline, transparency, and results.
We offer landowners a direct path to long-term, predictable income by leasing their land for solar PV, wind, or battery storage projects.
Our team identifies suitable parcels based on grid access, resource availability, and permitting feasibility. Once a lease is signed, ENBI handles 100% of the development process — including permitting, environmental due diligence, grid interconnection, and construction readiness.
Lease terms are competitive and clearly defined. Income is stable, inflation-indexed, and contractually secured for 25 years or more. We work with agricultural, industrial, and low-productivity land — always with respect for local conditions and long-term land value.
ENBI develops merchant-capable, grid-secured projects suitable for corporate and utility offtake.
We work with buyers seeking structured long-term PPAs, short-term hedging arrangements, or CfD-linked supply. Our projects are land-secured and fully permitted, with a clear construction and COD timeline. We support buyers during procurement, due diligence, and onboarding — offering transparency on permitting status, grid capacity, technology selection, and pricing assumptions.
For corporate clients, we deliver offtake structures that align with sustainability reporting (Scope 2 emissions), regulatory compliance, and internal decarbonization goals. For utilities and aggregators, we offer stable volumes and commercial flexibility, backed by experienced execution.
ENBI offers capital partners direct access to high-quality renewable infrastructure — either through RTB/COD asset sales or HoldCo-level platform participation.
We manage asset development internally, providing full control over permitting, grid connection, and EPC design. All projects are governed by an institutional framework: legal audit trails, third-party validation, and investment committee oversight. We work with infrastructure funds, IPPs, and long-term investors seeking to acquire operating or near-ready projects without intermediary risk.
Our track record includes over €1.5 billion in renewable platform transactions across Europe, including full-cycle development, strategic exits, and M&A processes with global sponsors and utilities.
